OCS 2024-25 Enrollment for RETURNING students
Opelika City Schools is opening registration for RETURNING students on Monday, April 22, 2024. You will receive an email from “Opelika City Schools Registration” on Monday, April 22 that contains a snapcode link. This link should be used to register your child for the 2024-25 school year. Since your child is a current student, this snapcode link will contain most of the information required and will only need to be updated. The information needed for the 2024-25 school year includes Proof of Residency and Contact Information. All parents/guardians must upload new documents for the upcoming school year to verify residency requirements.
- If you currently attend Opelika City Schools in grades K-12, you are considered a returning student.
- If you are moving from one school location to another due to grade level (such as moving up from 2nd to 3rd grade or 5th to 6th grade, you are considered a returning student.
- All 2024-25 Kindergarten students should use the Kindergarten registration link found at https://www.opelikaschools.org/news/what_s_new/2024-25_o_c_s_kindergarten_registration
Enrollment for NEW students who are registering for the 2024-25 school year for the first time or from another system will be able to register this summer. The link will be provided on the OCS website at a later date.
If you do not receive an email from “Opelika City Schools Registration” on Monday, April 22, 2024, with the snapcode link please contact the data clerk at the school that your child will be attending in the fall. The data clerk will be able to email you the snapcode for your student.

- CERTIFICATE OF IMMUNIZATION
- CHILD’S SOCIAL SECURITY CARD (Optional)
- PHOTO ID-of parent/legal guardian
- PROOF OF RESIDENCY
Parent/Guardian must present documents as listed below. The documents must show Parent/Guardian(s) name and current street address.
1 - Primary source: Mortgage Statement/Deed or Current Home Lease/Rental Document
2 - Secondary source: (one of the items listed below)
Power Bill (preferably)
Water Bill
Gas Bill
Trash Bill

Parents/Guardians,
Online Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is open. Schools must verify enrollment and supporting documentation before a schedule is created for your child. Please complete your enrollment as early as possible.

- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Immunization
- Social Security Card
- Photo ID - of Parent/Legal Guardian

- Secondary source (current water, gas, trash, or cell phone bill, lease, mortgage deed)
